I went to the ER with chest pain; after almost two days, thankfully it was just low potassium and GERD. I found the doctors and nurses attentive and concerned. I felt confident in the medical decisions made and the time taken to explain my condition. Overall, a very positive experience.
My wife and I were scheduled for an induction. However, she needed up going birth naturally, no drugs. The nursing staff in labor and delivery were EXCELLENT!! As we were moved to Mother/Baby (Postpartum) the nurse there were also great. Each nurse introduced themselves as shifts changed. We have preferred nurses but no complaints from any of them. Also, we were satisfied with the rooms cleanliness. The food was great and I couldn't remember other hospitals having such good food selections. One thing though, the family is a unit that should be encouraged by the hospital. At certain times, the dads are not treated as important as mom. There a whole laundry list of why or why not, but I'm not going into that. When ordering food, moms get it free and delivered, but dads have to leave to go downstairs and pay and get his own food. I just think the hospital could do better about the whole family unit. Regardless, 5 stars Brandon Regional.....
I've been admitted to Brandon Regional Hospital over a dozen times from 5 days to 14 days at a time been in the ICU for three days one time and the doctors and nurses were absolutely wonderful towards me. They have good food the janitorial service is spot-on as far as cleanliness and there's always somebody asking you can they help you or do you need something.
I was visiting my friend who has been hospitalized from a fall he's 90 years old and the doctors recommended that he go to physical therapy for it a couple few weeks and I'm going to miss the old man I'll go see him of course but it's not the same as he lives right next door to me. Sorry I missed the memorial I didn't get the post quite quick enough to make plans for it. Sincerely Robert
From the ER to the 6 day hospital stay, our experience was 5 star. Nursing staff was caring, compassionate and attentive. This hospital has improved immensely in patient care over the past couple of years.
