We tried this store based on the colorful selection of guppies. We bought a couple of guppies and added them to our established tank. No signs of any illness or disease at all. Next day, one is dead. Second day, another one dies after its tail fin completely disappeared overnight. Third day, our original guppy who has been healthy for 3 months died of the same thing...loss of color and sudden tail fin loss.
This store is super organized. Their fish department needs some work. They had a ton of dead fish inside their tanks which makes the tanks unappealing and are signs of unsanitary tanks and sickened fish. I know the standard is to clean the tank casualties in the AM before or right after opening and once again before closing at a minimum. They need to get with the program.
I love this store ❤️ the Manager, Kim, is awesome! Kim and her staff are always so friendly, knowledgeable, and go above and beyond to help! Thank you Kim for being so helpful to me and my fur babies
Selection is decent, Terrible customer service. Would not accept a coupon because it was on a phone (they apparently are stuck in 1985 and only accept paper coupons)
I called to be nice and inform them that there could be a possibly of disease in their tank. Associate said that their fish look fine and healthy as well as no other complaints had been made recently. The associate said that sometimes stress can do that to a sensitive fish. They offered to replace my dead fish from their store as long as I had the receipt. However, the manager I spoke to the day before said I had to have the carcass and a receipt. I have been treating with meds but whatever these fish caught is highly aggressive and comes on very quickly.
Needless to day, I will not be going back receipt or not. I am not comfortable returning after a situation like this...sorry.
Live fish eating rotting dead fish is a recipe for disaster down the road. If I buy a fish that contracted a disease from a decaying tank mate and put it straight into my establish aquarium could cause a breakout that can kill all my expensive fishes.
Sadly the birds are cold and they dont have anything for them to warm out when the store is cold. They are little birds from semi-tropic weather. I dont understand the mistreat.
