I went there following a back injury and had an excellent experience. Everyone there is so nice and accommodating. The recommendation they made and the exercises we did in office helped tremendously.
Had fun going to rehab Melissa was there every step kept me entertain and push me hard every day I was there. Thanks!
Ironically to her my problem was easy to identify- my pelvis was out of line and the catalyst for all of the other issues. Within about 2 weeks of twice weekly sessions, the pain was at zero. No pain meds needed any more, no more Tramadol, not even Tylenol! In the past the PT's discharged me if the pain stayed below 3. Kat recommended I continue therapy to prevent it from recurring. Which it did, as I began trying to do some of the workouts I had from time working with a personal trainer. She helped me pinpoint which exercises where not good for me personally, and gave me advice on types of exercises to include/avoid in the future. After following her recommendations and exercise/stretching plan, I started having sessions just once a week. After about 8 weeks I am ready to keep up the work on my own at home. I can now feel if my pelvis goes out of line, and have the tools to fix it. I'm confident that following the regimen for another 4 weeks on my own and then using a maintenance method, as Kat recommended, will keep those problems that plagued me for over a decade from coming back. I feel about 20 years younger after these 8 weeks! The exercises are do-able too, nothing strenuous or hard. The only hard part is being consistent and following the recommendations. It is 100% worth doing.
Not only is Kat amazing, everyone at TRS is very professional but also friendly and welcoming. It was a pleasure going there for my PT sessions. I'm recommending Therapeutic Rehab Specialists to my husband, son, even my in-laws, anyone I know that could use PT! I was torn over righting a good review or not. Only because once everyone finds out how amazing they are, I may not be able to get in there if I happen to need PT again! They are so great though, I had to sing their praises!
I was recommended to go to this clinic by a friend. I had received an ankle injury while running. Upon arrival I was warmly greeted from the friendly and knowledgeable staff. I took the time to rate this clinic 5 stars because I only had one visit. Now I'm back running again! Thank you, Tony!
I was referred to Therapeutic Rehab Specialists, by may pain doctor, to learn some pain management techniques for chronic back, hip and knee pain (stretches, using ice or heat effectively, etc). I'd had this pain for about 13 years. I had seen 3 other physical therapists (in Baltimore); a few orthopedic surgeons, rheumatologists, with varying results, most were not very successful at solving any of the problems or relieving pain. The pain if it went away, never went away for long. No one could get the pain to stay below a level 3-4. I was told my options where, to live with it or it's time to try cortisone injections. At 46, I chose live with it, I wasn't ready to start injections at this time. That's when my pain doctor referred me to Kat, to get help managing the pain. She is absolutely amazing, and really knows what she is doing. She showed me how to manage my pain by getting rid of it!
