Today was the scariest day for my husband and I. My 3 year old baby boy (kitty) Mr. Pickles had to be rushed to the emergency animal hospital. The staff and doctors at blue pearl were not only professional and skilled, they were compassionate and did whatever they had to do to work with us so that our precious boy could be treated. He will be an inpatient for the next few days and I feel at peace knowing that Emily and Dr. Jessica Weeks are there to look after him. They also told us and encouraged us to call anytime even if we had a bad dream and just wanted to check in! I love them!
My only experience here was when my cat grew suddenly ill and needed after hours emergency care. They were quick to assess him and discovered he was in bad shape. They were no able to perform the tests necessary for complete diagnosis at the Brandon site so I had to drive to their main site which was a bit out of the way. Long story short my cat had to be put down. This was not their fault, it was simply his time...the vet who saw him at the main site (9/19/15) was very kind and actually grew upset along with me because it reminded him of his cat. Alas, a bittersweet experience, but as far as emergency vets go, these folks are good. I like my regular vet better.
I have a blue nose pitbull with very sensitive skin. I called this Brandon location with multiple questions. I must say I was pleasantly surprised..... as I expected to be rushed off the phone or redirected somewhere else, instead the total opposite happen. An employee named Carlos answered the phone and was beyond helpful, he took time to discuss each and everyone of my questions with knowledge & solutions. Very impressed by the customer service.
We had to euthanize our cat Ellie this morning. She had surgery in April and the problem returned and she was suffering. I called at 7:45 and we got there at 8. They immediately took us to a private room. They were compassionate and caring. She went to sleep in a large fluffy blanket in my arms. We left at 8:45; sad, but relieved the suffering was over. It was a beautiful and peaceful send off for a loved member of the family. Well done and thank you, to everybody at BluePearl.
I had to take my cat to bluePearl and I was impressed how good they treated my cat, doctor Rachel Jansen did a amazing job and the other girls as well. I'll definitely come back if I ever have a emergency. They did a FANTASTIC job
