They frequently are late opening, (this made me late for work both when picking my car up and dropping it off.)

The customer service is extremely poor. I reserved a rental a week ago. They could not find me until I provided the confirmation number. I am a Preferred Plus member and was not acknowledged. It took 30 minutes for them to finalize the reservation after they had to switch the car. Nothing was ready which is certainly disappointing after being a customer for 5 years with Avis. The lady at the counter did not want to update the agreement time accurately as it took longer than what my reservation specified. She responded by saying well there's a 29 minute grace period and I said is that in the agreement please let me see the paperwork. She handed it to me while saying well I will just change because of course it was not in the agreement. I reserved an intermediate vehicle and received an extremely basic Hyundai Elantra. I was so shocked at the difference in other intermediate mid-size vehicles I have rented. No leather seats, no automation within the car, no bluetooth, no hands free capabilities, cheap steering wheel, no comfort or feel that is remotely close to other intermediate vehicles such as the Chevrolet Cruze. When I returned inside the place and voiced my concerns, the rude woman said this is a 2017 car, I said ma'am there's nothing automatic about the vehicle. The manager returned and tried to attempt to resolve by looking at the only other intermediate vehicle they had at the location according to them and it was just as basic. I took the car because I had to get to work, by then they had wasted 45 minutes of my time and I am very unhappy. I did call customer care and they offered a coupon, however hopefully today when I attempt to exchange the vehicle at the airport, I will receive the great service a Preferred Plus member should always receive. Do not waste your time at neighborhood location Avis, they are always much more inadequate and accommodating if you are used to the exceptional service airport locations strive for. Although there are extra fees, I would much rather pay for better customer service!

If you book from this location, be sure to pick up well after their 8am "opening" time.

Terrible customer service! I got there early to pick up my car and the car wasn't ready... The women at the counter stated that the car was on its way and she would call me when it comes in...nevertheless I waited 2 hours never got a call had to actually call myself and the response was "oh yea we do have your car here" I thought this would be it but no didn't end there. So I get there and want to add a day to my rental well that is $50 more then my original quote and when I asked if they had any discounts the rep asked her mom & dad I guess in Spanish! Which by the way I'm fluent! Lol if she could give that discount of 15% and the mom or whom ever she was knodded no! first of all it is rude and unprofessional to speak a different language to communicate when you are around customers! But did it end there no! Second they continued to try to up sell me with a sports car and there insurance which tells me they weren't listening at any point in our conversation since I stated multiple times that I was driving to another state with my infant! So there is no reason I would need a sports car! I will not be renting from avid ever again! I should have went with my gut and went to enterprise a more reputable company.

Pick up easy. Car was in excellent condition. Needed to extend rental and process was easy. Very convenient for my family. Will only use Avis going forward...

Rented a mini van only needed it for a day I am not picky but some standards are needed. The van was dirty and smelled musty. I had to febreeze it n wipe with Clorox wipes before I allowed my kids in it. Customer service was ok a bit dry she needs a bit more charisma to work a job that deals with people.
